Hello, crafty friends!
welcome to my new blog! The craft room is clean and organized, the chair is tied up with ribbon (can't have the driver's seat falling apart on the trip), and the blog engine is up and running. It's time to start off on this crafty journey!
I have had my main blog, I Never Went to Kindergarten, going for a couple of years, with a couple big gaps as Life interrupted, as it is occasionally wont to do. It's been particularly stressful for the last year and I needed a bit of revamp, so I'm reworking how I use my blogs and starting down a new path in my journey. This new site, Christy Beans' Crafty Journey, is all about the making, the experimenting, the trial and error, the works in progress, the learning curves, and the crafty hauls.
I'll be posting my finished pieces--I say pieces and not cards because I hope to branch out into some other fun stuff this year--over on the digital fridge at I Never Went to Kindergarten. Being able to post works in progress here means I can streamline my posts there a bit and still get my prattle on. With so many blogs to see and crafty entries to read, people have less time to get to everything and I know my posts there tended to be a bit on the novella side sometimes. So, short and sweet posts there, sometimes-rambling tales of the journey here. Hopefully some of my crafty friends will come visit me here to help celebrate my successes and commiserate over my wretched failures. And I know there will be plenty of both... that's what this journey is all about.
